Music in India

Music in India is deeply related to the daily lives of the people of India and is one of the strongest forms of cultural expressions. The Hindustani music is predominant in the northern regions of India and Carnatic music is the pride of South India. Hindustani music and Carnatic music are rooted in the ancient Vedic philosophy.
